Death In the Afternoon

If you're a cocktail connoisseur, you're probably familiar with absinthe. The Death in the Afternoon cocktail is one of the most entertaining ways to use it.

The flavor of this iridescent green cocktail, which combines absinthe with sparkling wine, is pleasantly interesting! It has a fizzy finish with a hint of black licorice.

It's a one-of-a-kind cocktail created by writer Ernest Hemingway to dazzle guests. Of course, we enjoy it so much that we drink it as a nightcap as well.

Ingredients:

1/2 oz absinthe

 1/2 oz chilled Champagne

1/4 oz simple syrup (optional if you want a sweeter taste)

Instructions:

      1. Pour the absinthe into a coupe (pour your syrup first if you are going to use it)
      2. Top slowly with the Champagne.

Bloody Marry

Another famous cocktail that fits the Halloween theme is the good old Bloody Mary!

This classic cocktail, which combines vodka with tomato juice, was created in the 1920s and has since become one of the most popular in the world. Also, you can add some spooky garnishes to make it more suitable for Halloween.

Ingredients:

Large handful of ice

3 oz vodka

17 oz tomato juice

1 tbsp lemon juice, plus 2 slices to serve

3 shakes of Worcestershire sauce

3 shakes of Tobasco

pinch of celery salt

pinch of black pepper

2 celery sticks to serve

Instructions:

  1. Put the ice in a large jug. Measure the vodka, tomato juice, and lemon juice and pour them straight onto the ice.

  2. Add 3 shakes of Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco (or more if you like it very spicy) and a pinch of celery salt and pepper. Stir until the outside of the jug feels cold, then strain the cocktail into 2 tall glasses.

  3. Top up with fresh ice, add a celery stick and lemon slice to both glasses

Vampire’s Kiss

Vampire's Kiss is a must-try! This blood-red beverage is nothing more than a berry-flavored vodka martini dressed up as a frightening Halloween cocktail.

When you take a sip, you'll notice it's sweet and tangy, with a juicy berry finish. With a red sugar rim and a chunk of dry ice, it bubbles and boils continuously, emitting a steady stream of smoke!

Ingredients:

1/2 oz vodka

1 oz Chambord

1/2 oz 100% unsweetened cranberry juice (not sweetened or cranberry juice cocktail)

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

1/2 oz grenadine

Granulated sugar and additional grenadine for the sugar rim (optional)

1 small dry ice cube(optional)

Instructions:

  1. On one plate, spread granulated sugar in a single layer. Place grenadine on a   separate plate. Spin the glass rim in the grenadine until it is completely coated. Then, to coat the glass rim in sugar, dip it into the Plate.

  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, Chambord, unsweetened cranberry juice, lemon juice, and grenadine. Shake in 2 handfuls of normal ice cubes until chilled. Pour the liquid into the glass that has been prepared.

  3. If using, break the dry ice into 1-inch chunks as soon as feasible before serving the beverages. To begin, drop the plastic bag containing the dry ice several times on the ground to allow it to break into huge chunks. Keep in mind that you should never contact dry ice with your bare hands! Put on your safety goggles and gloves. Using a screwdriver or an ice pick, shatter the dry ice into smaller pieces with a chisel. 1/2-inch to 1-inch chunks are perfect since they are large enough to settle to the bottom of the drink but small enough to vanish in minutes. Wrap the little chunks in a towel and store them in a cooler with the lid off until the beverages are ready to be served. Dry ice should not be stored in the freezer.

  4. Add a 1/2-inch to 1-inch chunk of dry ice to the glass with tongs (do not touch the dry ice), which will settle to the bottom and create a smoking effect right away. In about 5 minutes, the ice cube will vanish. Dry ice should not be consumed! Before sipping your drink, wait until the cube has vanished.

Pumpkin Martini

We've got the perfect beverage for you: the Pumpkin Martini! It's creamy, spiced like a cozy pie, and crafted with real pumpkin for the greatest flavor.

Even better, if you coat the rim of the glass in crumbled graham crackers, each sip will have a hint of crispy sweetness!

For every fall occasion, this is the ultimate Halloween cocktail to impress your friends with. Better still, make a Pumpkin Pie Martini with whipped cream on top!

Ingredients:

2 oz vodka

1/2 oz heavy cream (or coconut milk, for vegan)

1/2 oz (to 1 ounce**) pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons canned pumpkin puree

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Graham crackers for the rim

Instructions:

  1. Place graham crackers on a plate and crush them with your fingers. Place a small puddle of maple syrup on a separate dish. First, coat the rim of a martini glass in maple syrup, twisting the glass to uniformly coat the rim. Then, until the rim is evenly coated, roll it in crushed graham crackers.

  2. In a cocktail shaker, shake all of the components. Add in a handful of ice until it's cold. Strain the liquid into the martini glass that has been prepared.
