The palate of 2021 ZOTO Chardonnay holds a combination of ripe pear and lemon curd, with sweet red and green apple notes, complimented by a salty/sea spray note of salinity with Zotovich Vineyard’s hall mark mineral note. This medium-bodied Chardonnay finishes with pure fruit and limestone notes through the long finish. This Chardonnay ages in 100% neutral oak for 6 months.

With the goal of expressing a comprehensive expression of the appellation, selected four unique vineyard sites to create this Sta. Rita Hills bottling. This blend is comprised of 3D, Machado, Acin and Hapgood vineyards. While each lot is handled separately and in a completely uniform fashion in the winery, each contributes vastly different expressions which ultimately harmonize in the finished wine.
