Racorell belong to the range of wines under Alfredo Arribas’ latest project “El Mas de l’A”. A red wine that explores the refining capacity of a blend from co-planted Grenaches grapes: Negra, Peluda and Gris. Grapes sourced from soils composed of a mixture of red clay and slate (a type of Llicorella characteristic of the North side of the region). The key here is to find the precise time for harvesting, as this will mark the character of the wine. Long maceration maintaining part of the stems (50%), naturally fermented with its own yeasts in cement vats. Aged for 12 months in Fudres and used large French oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered.
A wine displaying all the purity of the fruit, subtle, fine, harmonized, balsamic and mineral, smooth tannins and acidity. Long aftertaste.
