Dry red wine with berry aroma and bright, bold taste. The wine is made from Sangiovese grapes, enhanced by the Colorino and Canaiolo varieties grown in the Chianti area, or rather, in Rufina. The vineyards are laid out on the western slope of the hill at a fairly high altitude (about 400 meters), the soil consists of clay and lime marls. Vinification begins with a 15-day maceration, during which the wort is pumped every two hours for 8 minutes. Subsequent fermentation takes place with natural yeast cultures.
