"Scents of blackberry pie and saddle leather lead to a plush palate of dark chocolate and plum liqueur in this distinguished blend (77 Cabernet Sauvignon, 12 Petite Sirah, 4 Merlot, 4 Petit Verdot, and 3 Malbec), which features grapes from premier vineyards in the growing regions of Californias Central Coast. The mid-palate shows notes of pie crust, Luxardo cherry, and a hint of white pepper. After the grapes aged separately, the lots were integrated into a blend that aged an additional 18 months in new French and neutral American oak."
