The Best Ever Mojito Recipe
Ingredients:
- 10 mint leaves (the fresher the better)
- 1/2 lime cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp white sugar (you may want to add more if you like it sweeter)
- 1 1/2 oz white rum
- 1/2 cup club soda (you can use tonic water as well for a more sweet flavor)
- 1 cup ice
Directions:
In a short glass, add mint leaves and 1 lime wedge. Use a muddler or wooden spoon to crush the mint and lime. This will release the lime juice and oils in the mint. Add 2 lime wedges and the sugar and continue to muddle all together. Fill the glass with ice and pour in the rum followed by the club soda. Stir and taste, add more sugar if desired. Garnish your mojito with a lime wedge. Makes 1 mojito.
